Somethings wrong here…….I’m sure I was suppose to be a Princess!

Do you ever feel that way?

I have been cleaning upstairs, (where I only go to sleep), all morning and I am so certain that I am not suppose to be doing that type of manual labor!  I felt like Cinderella, just scrubbing away, dreaming about my next card.  I have friends that just love to clean, I sure wish I had a little of that DNA!

So, I came downstairs, (where I live most of the time with my cards, paper and stamp sets) to change the laundry.  Which is a great time to sneak in a little stamping when no one is watching!

Thought I would share with you a cute little card using the  Oh, Hello stamp set.  I would like to use this card an an invitation to invite a few fellow Princesses over for tea and crumpets!  Can’t you just hear the english accent on Ohhhh, helloooo?OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

While skipping through Pinterest  I saw this card, sorry, I don’t know who originally crafted it, but, I changed up some elements and made it my own.  I used chocolate chip card stock for the base of the card.  That way I could use the chocolate and white bakers twine.  The accent color is raspberry ripple.  I colored my little flower trim just by patting the flower directly on the raspberry ripple ink pad.  A double layer of my favorite doilies and a few pearls here and there and whala a princess card is born!  The verse is cut out using the Apothacary Accent framelits.  You can’t see it in the picture, but, I also spritzed it with a nice blast of our shimmer paint.

Here is the little added bonus in the inside of the card:OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI stamped this in the bottom left corner.  I used markers directly onto the stamp to get the flower in two colors.

Now, I must trudge back upstairs and finish Cinderella’s jobs before someone knows I took a stamping break!

Happy Stamping!
