Getting ready for Friday’s Birthday card class with Henry
This stamp set is just too cute. I decided I should design a new card for this Friday’s class instead of using one of the dozens I have on my boards. I love sitting down, picking out a stamp set, deciding on a dsp to feature and designing.
Here’s my latest “Henry card” :
This card features the Tangerine Tango stripe from the Sycamore Street DSP in the Sale-a-bration brochure. I used my color coach to help me pick out a color combination that goes with Tangerine Tango. The colors listed are Old Olive and Pacific Point. I went with that combo and here is what I came up with. It’s a fun fold, so the card opens up by the “Henry layer”. The card base in Pacific Point is cut 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and scored at 5-1/2″.
Henry and the verses are stamped in StazOn. I used my favorite tool, the aqua painter, to shade Henry and add a little pink to the cheek and ear.
Join me in class to make this “Henry card”.
