Two fabulous stamp sets from Stampin’ UP!
Yes, boo hoo today was the last day of Leadership. It’s one of those times when you feel elated and sad at the same time! I have had a wonderful time with Sarah, planning out our futures with our Stampin’ UP! businesses.
The beauty of this job is that there are so many different ways to go and they are all correct! You just have to decide what you want and go for it in a way that suits you and your family. I’m talking about my family at home and my Stampin’ UP! family. I love them both and I want the best of everything for everyone! The future is very bright for all of us!
I was lucky enough to be able to talk with Shelli Gardner after the Sale-a-bration session tonight. (It helped a great deal having Sarah by my side since she knows Shelli personally from achieving so many of the SU vacations!) It was a little embarrassing since I was walking around all day on the back of my shoes.
Yes, I am one of those people that packed so light I only brought along 1 pair of shoes. By the second day I had blisters on both heels and on my toes! Being a “Boomer” I did have band aids with me, just not enough.
The long and short of this story is that Shelli loves shoes. So, I thought I would say something about the elephant in the room, i.e. my broken down shoes. I let her know I was embarrassed and why, so, she graciously took her shoes off and we finished our conversation that way! What other co-founder of a large company would do that? Just one more reason for me to LOVE Stampin’ UP!
I made 2 very different cards for swapping this year. Just for a reminder let me pull them up for you:
My question to you is this: which one of these cards do you think went the fastest, the Feeling Sentimental card or the Henry Says card? The first person with the right answer will receive one of my hand stamped cards with an envelope that you can turn around and send out!
I want to hear from you in the next few days. Let me know which card went first and which card is your favorite. Just leave your comment below.
