Monday already? I mean are you ready?
Have you finished shopping, wrapping, baking and of course…..have you sent your hand stamped Christmas cards out? I know that some of you have sent out some beautiful cards because I have received some of them. I on the other hand have been so busy with classes, guess what, my cards are not done yet. So, after getting ready for my Kismet class this week, I will be frantically making out my Christmas cards.
Yesterday my workshop was transformed into a purple birthday palace for my Granddaughter, Elliana. She turns 7 tomorrow! When her mom asked her what kind of a birthday party she wanted all she asked for was a “family party”. Which makes me a very proud Grandmother! Here are a few pics from the party:
Love that Big Shot! I used the pennant die and make a special message for Elliana! Here is a picture of our sweet birthday girl.
I suppose you are saying ok, that’s all nice, but, what about a few cards! Well, due to me not posting for a few days I have 3 cards for you today. The first card is for the Christmas basket:Instead of using the whole 3 x 3 square with these little cardinals on I decided to punch them out and pop them up with dimensionals.
For card number 2 I have for (hopefully) your viewing pleasure a card that we will be making in class today and tomorrow:
So here is the front and the inside. I just wanted to note that I designed this card well before the tragic events in CT. But, even though we wish we never have to send out sympathy cards, when you need one it’s nice to have them on hand.
For the third card I used the stamp set Need for Speed. I designed this card for my Grandsons. They love to make cards and it’s a wonderful way to spend time with them.A perfect “male” card. This set is really fun, it has a race car, jet, boat and this four wheeler. Their Grandpa and Uncle Travis both have four wheelers which they LOVE to take rides on which makes the card special for them.
