Whew! It’s been a whirlwind here…..

Camp Stamp-in-Oga, Hostess Club, Christmas card classes……

Wow!  Sorry I have been absent from my blog.  But, I have been stamping and holding classes!  I have been so busy because of our new special.  Stampers are really excited about taking advantage of the new ink-credible offer from Stampin’ UP!

I have had 3 stampers join my SU family this past week!  They are getting $125 in the product of their choice AND a FREE set of our new STAMP PADS all for just $99!  (Stampin’ UP! also payes  for the shipping of your kit.)  The color family of their choice, brights, subtles or regals.  That’s another $49.95 worth of FREE!!!!  (Can you tell I’m a little excited over this new offer?)

You may not be ready to sign up as a Demonstrator even with this great deal.  But, there is another way you can receive a FREE stamp pad family.  Host a party with me, with a $450 party you can get a stamp pad family FREE.  In addition to that you also get $65 in Hostess dollars and one item from the catalog at 50% off.

Alright, I’ll stop yapping at you and get down to the card of the day.  Today’s card is one that we did in my Christmas card classes this week.  I used the Scentsatonal Season stamp set and the matching framelits for this card.  I wanted a bright happy card so I used one of my favortie colors Gumball Green and paired it up with Real Red.

Here it is folks:

Here is the front, the glare on the picture is because we embossed our cute little gingerbread men.  With the new stamp pads you put so much more ink on the paper that if you sprinkle with embossing powder right after stamping you don’t have to use VersaMark ink!  Just stamp, sprinkle and cook!  Use the scented embossing powder, (we used Sugar and Spice) and whom ever gets this cute card will have a wonderful scent when they take the card out of the envelope!

Here is the inside.   Now, after looking at it a bit, I wish I had used Real Red for the verse.  But, I still think that it’s cute.  I stamped the tree at an angle on purpose!  I think it adds a bit of whimsy to the card.  It also matches up with the trees on the front of the card.

What do you think about the card and the FABULOUS offer to get a FREE family of stamp pads?  I really can’t tell you how much we have been loving the new firm foam stamp pads!  I choose to purchase the entire set when they first were introduced.  That is all we use in my classes and after a learning curve, my stampers are loving them as much as I do.  I talk about a learning curve because you need to learn to gently “kiss” the stamp on the ink pad and not pound down on the stamp pad as we were used to doing.  Another little trick if you tend to get the “ring around the stamp”, just place your card stock on top of our Stampin’ Pierce Mat (on page 7 of the 2012-13 catalog) and stamp your image.  Wahlah!  No more “ring around the stamp”!

Happy Stamping!

Love the card and love the crooked tree. Why? Because that’s how they look! Yeah, yeah, they fool you with their stiff, staunch uprightness out in the woods or tree farm or parking lot, but you get them home and into your tree stand and no matter how much you trim off the trunk they’re still crooked! We tried an artificial tree. Even crooked-er! Okay, stop laughing and saying, “No, it’s just you.”

Did I say I loved the card?
