with many thanks to Miss Tami for designing it!
My photography skills don’t do this card justice! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Miss Tami came over today for my Techniques class and ended up spending the afternoon designing and making some of her Christmas cards.
What you can’t see is that the deer is stamp in chocolate chip ink then embossed with iridescent ice so that is shimmers and sparkles. Above each ornament is a tiny little pearl. The verse is embossed and then layered on our red glimmer paper which has been cut out using a framelit from the Apothecary Accents set.
She used the Elegant lines embossing folder for the very vanilla portion on the right side. Then used the swirl from the Everything Eleanor stamp set under the deer. I LOVE the way these two mimic each other and give the card a “flow”. Does that make sense? Maybe not, but, I’m hoping my stamping friends out there will get the gist of what I am trying to say!
This is a tri-fold card, the red glimmer paper tab is holding the card shut. The original card that she saw on my board and liked opened from the other way, she redesigned it so that she could have the deer be the focus of attention.
So, how are you doing on your Christmas cards? If you place your order with me for your Christmas card needs, I would be happy to cut the card stock to your dimensions. Give me a call/email or click here and order from my SU website.
