Horse Frontier….page 85 of the 2012-13 SU catalog

Designing outside of the box…

In my pursuit of purchasing stamp sets that would increase my “guy” collection I have a card today using the stamp set Horse Frontier.  I have always loved horses.  I don’t want to own one and I certainly don’t want to have to clean up after one.  But, I love to just watch them.  Now I can own one, the stamp variety!  Our older grandchildren had been taking riding lessons when they were in Oklahoma.  With them now living in Wisconsin I thought that they would appreciate this stamp set.  So here is my first card using this set:

I think that this horse is just beautiful and regal looking.   It’s easy to add color to or just as beautiful if you leave it without any additional color as I have done for the inside of the card.  A beautiful line drawing goes a long way!

This card’s verse could go with the cowboy boot card I put up a few days ago.  There’s a little cowboy in all of us, a little frontier.  Fabulous verse!  I would love to have a pair of red cowboy boots!  What color would you love to have?

By the way, this is one of the 5 cards that we will be making at my Kismet classes this month.  Check out the SU site and get signed up today!

Happy Stamping!
