do I still like what I created the night before?
This is the big test! I tend to work until late into the night and sometimes the cards get a little…. lets just say they may not go over well in a class!! So, this morning I checked the cards that I made last night to see if I still thought they were worthy to be in a class. To my great relief, I think that they are. Now, the big test….what do you think?
This card is made with what I would call nontraditional colors for Christmas. But, I still like it. I used a sheet of designer series paper from the Patio Party pack. I paired it up with Island Indigo. The stamp set Come to Bethlehem was used. I embossed the main image with black embossing powder and cut the bottom with an Adorning Accents Edgelit. That layer is framed by the Island Indigo with Merry Christmas embossed with white embossing powder. The brad around the organza bow is from our Antique Brads collection. I just could not resist putting one of our rhinestones in the center of the star overlooking Bethlehem.
So, nontraditional, but, I think it works. What do you think?
Thanks to all the ladies that attended my Souper night last night. They seemed to enjoy the Chicken Tortilla Soup and brownies! We were happy to have a “mini” stamper join us for the evening Miss Kaylee who is only 4 years old. She knew what stamping was all about and she worked on Halloween cards to hand out in school with her Grandmother. Lets just say she totally LOVES our rhinestones!
