Still thinking about Door County….
I ordered our International Bazaar designer series paper a while back and have not played with it until last night. I was up until about 3:00am this morning and I was on a roll! When I pulled out all the paper one caught my attention, it reminded me of the rolling hills of beautiful colors that I had seen in Egg Harbor. Here’s the view that came to my mind:
This was the view we drove by everyday that we went into town. The picture really doesn’t due it justice, but, it was breath taking! So here is the card with the DSP that reminded me of this view:
Doesn’t that DSP look like the trees in the picture? (Yes, I know that I didn’t see any blue trees like in the paper!) I couldn’t resist using it and thought the hot air balloons would be floating over that beautiful view. So, I brought the two together. The base of the card is Pacific Point and the layer that is embossed with our Square Lattice Folder is Marina Mist. The balloons are stamped with Cajun Craze and So Saffron.
Here is the inside:
I started out with just one balloon, but, I decided that it needed a little more. I layered it up with Early Espresso and of course Whisper White card stock. I think that this would make a good “man” birthday card.
We will be making this card at my Kismet class today and tomorrow. Give me a call ASAP if you would like to join us!
