a little stampin’ will done today!
My husband, Peter and my youngest son, Travis left early this morning to go up north to do a little hunting. Which translates to “I get to stamp to my heart’s content!” I love Peter dearly, but, it’s nice to have time alone every once in a while!
Today’s card is one we will be making in my Religious Christmas card class on Monday, October 29. That class is running in 2 sessions that day, 9-12 or 3-8. Join us if you’d like, just go to my SU site and RSVP from there! The card is using the beautiful set Evergreen from the Holiday catalog on page 18. Along with that I used the fabulous new Glimmer paper in Champagne on that same page. Here it is folks:
Look at that sparkle!!!! Don’t you just love it? I do! It’s like putting up wall paper, every time I put up a sheet I would stand back and oooooohhhhh and aaaaahhhhh over it! That’s what I do using any of the Glimmer papers. (I didn’t ooohh and aaahh when I had to take the wall paper down!) Luckily with the Glimmer paper you don’t have to take it down, you can admire it for the whole Christmas season!
Here is a little tip that was shared by one of my stampers, Miss Joyce, if you tear the back paper off the glimmer paper it makes it easier to use it with our punches. Thanks Miss Joyce for sharing that with us!! I find that with my family of stampers we love to share information and things that we have learned along the way regarding stamping. That’s just one more thing that makes me proud to be a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator! I get the opportunity to talk with women that I admire and we all get to learn from each other.
