Using the Happy Hour stamp set with embossing techniques!

Today I will share with you another card we made at our last techniques class.  So, yesterday I talked about how we used our stamp pad to pat color onto the top of our embossing folder.  On today’s card we used a brayer to roll VersaMark on the top of our fancy fan embossing folder.  Place your whisper white card stock in the folder, run through the Big Shot, then pour cherry cobbler  embossing powder over the embossed card stock.  Tap off the excess powder and use your heat gun to emboss the image. Here’s a look at the card, then I’ll chat a little more:

You can see in the picture a little of the glossy shine on the left side of the card.  On the right side, we embossed whisper white card stock with one of our Delicate Designs folders.  Then using a dauber we lightly rubbed over the raised image with Gumball Green ink.  Add a few rhinestones and the nice little slice of our glimmer paper down the center of the card and you have a glitzy, shiny, cheery Christmas card!

By the way, remember, if you place an order with me while I am on vacation, either online or by emailing me, you will receive an extra special gift.  That’s exactly what Miss Candace did this morning.  So, when her order arrives she will have a little surprise because she ordered the lacy brocade folder that was mentioned yesterday!

On our Door County travels yesterday we visited a wine shop.  We got to sample some wonderful wines, a few of which I purchased!  Our favorite which we drank while we played cards last night was the chocolate wine!  Yummy!  We had to have a little something while we were celebrating Ken and Trudy’s 43rd wedding anniversary!

Happy Stamping!
