Here’s Sammi Rae’s Door County Cherry Pie:

Isn’t that beautiful?  Made with her Grandmother’s sugar cookie recipe for the crust and her special recipe for cherry pie filling.  I baked it pretty late last night and the smell was fabulous!!

Now here is the card that I promised you yesterday.  We made this one at my last techniques class:

For this card we used our real red stamp pad. Pat it on inside of the front of the lacy brocade embossing folder. (The side that has the Stampin’ UP! logo on it).  Place your card stock in the folder and run through the Big Shot.  You get this beautiful effect.  It almost feels like old fashioned flocked wall paper.  If you very gently pat it on the back side you get the opposite effect!  Really easy and really cool!  Now here is another good part of this whole technique.  The clean up is as easy as the technique!  You just spray the inside of the folder, (on both sides), place a folded  paper towel inside and run through the Big Shot!  Wala!  You’re all done with the clean up and your paper towel looks kinda cool!

Happy Stamping!

Please tell me there is a cookie cutter for the hand shape on that crust. That is too, too clever!
