That’s the name of the new fall leaf stamp set!

You can view  this fabulous set on page 33 of our Holiday catalog.  It’s a great set that coordinates with a Bigz Die at the top of the page.  That’s also where you will find our new Woodgrain embossing folder.  (This page is just filled with goodies that you are going to want to have at home!)

Well, I promised you a look see at the finished product that was started yesterday and left half done on my messy desk.  True to my word here it is:

The base of the card is More Mustard with a layer of Early Espresso topped off with our Early Espresso Core’dination DSP embossed with the woodgrain folder I talked about above.  The DSP used is from the Orchard Harvest designer series paper located on page 28 of the Holiday catalog.

I went to bed about 11:30pm tonight and could not get this card out of my head.  So, I headed down to my little workshop and finished it up.  I ended up cutting and stamping different leaves and turning around the DSP to use the more solid pattern instead of the stripe I had intended on using.

Using this stamp set, Wonderfall, with the Bigz Die is a little different than most.  You cut out your card stock using the die.  Then ink up the stamp and with the stamp image side up, you lay your cut card stock on top of the inked stamp.  Then gently rub over the card stock to get your stamped image on the card stock.  Reading that back, does that make sense to you?  If not give me a call and I would be happy to go through it with you!

It’s late, but now that I’m up and the cat is sleeping peacefully in her chair next to me and not walking all over my desk…..I think I’ll stamp for a while!  The house is quiet and no one should be calling this time of night!  This is my guilty pleasure…..stamping after midnight!  Try it sometime!

Happy Stamping!

My desk starts off clean, but by the time I have created a couple of cards, it is a mess.
Why can’t I learn to put things away after I use them? Because I have been inspired by the stamp, paper, embellishment, or whatever, and I have to use it on another card.
I, too, like to stamp late at night, but I usually start earlier and just don’t realize how late it is when I finally get tired. Fall is my favorite “theme” for cards. I think I am naturally drawn to the fall colors. Browns, rusts, mustards, and olive green just tend to inspire me.

Judy! Thanks for responding! I am always praying that I’m not just talking to myself in this blog! I’m with you on all the beautiful fall colors. God has certainly given us so much to work with!
      Thanks again,
