Happy Sunday!

Getting ready for my Kismet class….

I have been running around cutting card stock and pulling stamp sets for my class tomorrow and Tuesday.  This is my favorite class of the month.  I get to pick my 5 favorite cards.  This month we will be doing 2 Halloween cards, 2 Christmas cards and one “man” card.

It’s not too early to start getting your Christmas cards figured out.  I would be happy to get your supplies ordered for you.  In addition, if you know how you want your card stock cut, I would be happy to do that for you also!  Just give me a call or email and lets talk!

The card I have for you today is the one I was talking about a few days ago.  I had been dreaming of this card and got it started on Wednesday and finally got it put together yesterday.  It uses the Googly Ghouls stamp set and the Perfectly Preserved stamp set.  Both are in the Holiday catalog.  Yes, I know that a lot of stampers have used these two sets together, because you can put the spiders in the jar.  My dream, (or nightmare) was the spiders getting out of the jar!  Here it is:

Well, here it is, the front and the inside.  I used vellum for the jar and I just love using the Cannery Set Framelits Dies to cut it out.  So, what do you think?

I did also promise to show you the Painter Tray after I finished it.  What a fun project!  The instructions were as clear as could be and I thoroughly enjoyed putting it together.  All I need is a photograph to put in the blank spot.

TaTa for now!  Happy Stamping!

The jar of spiders is great! Every time I looked at the jar, I envisioned bugs. I finally settled for putting the butterflies from the beautiful wings embosslit in mine. I put the cover askew on the jar so the butterflies could “escape” onto the card.

That sounds beautiful. I would love to see that card. I will have to use your idea and make one of my own and them we can compare!
