A peek at one of this month’s Technique class cards….
Hello Stampers. Isn’t this a crazy life? How many times do we get side tracked before we complete something that we really need to accomplish? It’s sort of like running on a tread mill……you’re running but getting no where! That’s how the last two days have been. Sound familiar?
I’m so delighted to be down in my happy place, my stamping room! Thought I would share another card using the wonderful Core’dinations card stock. If you want to take a look at it it’s on page 6 of our SU Holiday catalog. Comes in 3 colors, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Gumball Green. (Doesn’t everyone just love that Gumball Green? Not just the color but the fun name!)
Here’s the card then I’ll chat some more:
Card base is Midnight Muse. I used the Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations paper, embossed it with the Houndstooth embossing folder and them sanded it lightly. The Early Espresso portion is also using Core’dinations paper. I did not emboss it this time, just tore it to show off the inner core of the paper. I’m loving the cute Tweet Leaves stamp. We colored it in with our markers and then placed the precut maple leaf over the top of the stamp. Our little blue bird had Crystal Effects on the top portion just to set it off.
Let me know what you think!
