Pasta salad instead of soup….would that be a Paster night?
Not sure how this ravioli salad will taste, but, it looks really pretty! If it’s not consumable I have a watermelon cut and ready to help fill my stampers up!
My souper night is once a month. Stampers come to work on their own projects, but, have the use of all my stamps, inks and Big Shot dies. For $5 I feed them a light dinner and we all just have fun! Not sure if I have more fun than they do or not!
Here is a card that I designed for my Faux techniques class scheduled for June 12th from 9-12 or June 13th from 3-8pm. I decided to do faux tiles. We will be making 5 cards total, 4 of which will have the “tiles”. One that I pictured early this week on the blog is using The Open Sea stamp set. Here is one for tea time:
Here is the front view. I wanted to make a faux tea bag. I thought about gluing some cat nip inside, but, thought better of it. My cat would attack it and some one else may think that it’s something other that cat nip!
Janice helped me design the bag, thank you Miss Janice!
You know I am a big fan of finishing off the inside of the cards. In this set, Tea Shoppe, (which I have in clear), there are 3 little tea cups which are on one stamp. I decided to cut mine apart so that I can easily use each individual cup. This is very easy to do with a clear set. I don’t have to worry about having additional wood blocks to mount the individual tea cups on.
Must close and try and get some cookies made for tonight.
