Happy Tuesday!

Old vs new……you choose!

This morning I thought I would show you a couple of changes I made to the birthday cards I had from last Friday’s class.  I needed to use up some old favorite DSP on those cards, but, needed to update them for displays with new DSP.  My friend Janice remined me that I should start making cards for swaps at convention.  So, my mind just started ticking……use the great old layouts with the great new papers.  Thought I would put them side by side for you to compare.  Pictures still are not the greatest, but, I do try!  The old layouts are on the left side and the new “made over” cards are on the right.  (like you couldn’t figure that one out!  sorry!):

On the first set of cards I switched up the designer series paper to Patio Party, also I changed the very vanilla card stock to marina mist card stock.

The second card I switched up the designer series paper to Floral District.  For the center of the card I used a scallop circle punch and punched out the center from another sheet of the Floral District dsp.  (You are going to LOVE that dsp!)

On the third card I need to switch out the stamp set to one of our new Hostess sets, Summer Afternoon, (ooooooohhhhhhh you are really going to love that stamp set!).  Also switch up the dsp to Patio Party.

So, here’s the thing, you can get great layouts from any of our old catalogs and update them with all the new stamp sets and papers.  Just can’t beat a good layout!
