Hope you all enjoyed your day!
I was blessed to spend the day with our youngest son, Travis and a very dear friend, Tami, (who is more like a daughter). I spoke with my eldest son, Carl and his wonderful wife, Christine. My day was complete there! We had our traditional Mother’s Day dinner, Kentucky Fried Chicken! I just love KFC, but, my other family members are not as taken with it as me. So, they sacrifice and eat chicken with me!
It was a beautiful day. It makes me smile every time I think of the special times I have had with the people that I love. Life is good…..
I thought today I would give you a picture of a card that I made with some of those sets that are retiring. The stamp set Have a Seat is one of those that I fell in love with, but, never stamped much with. So, before the month is gone and other people can still fall in love with this set and purchase it……here it is:
Mocha Morning DSP and soft suede go so well together. Hard to tell in the picture, but I also went over the card base and the “chair” picture with Very Vintage wheel, using soft suede classic ink. Here is a peek at the inside:
I have chosen this card for my Kismet class on Monday, May 21st 9-12 and Tuesday, May 22 3-8pm. Check out my class schedule by clicking here.
