Happy Birthday Peter!
I had to sneak down to my workshop to get this in while Peter is out side playing with our dog, Tootsie. I promised to spend the day with him, but, what is a day without stamping?! The card I have for you today is one we did at a birthday class last month. I try and do at least one card that is suitable to give to men. They don’t always appreciate our flowery cards! Here’s the card:
I used cajun craze card stock for the body of the card and the designer series paper shown is from Well Worn. Just love that paper for “man” cards! The stamp set is Not so Seriously from our Idea Book & Catalog, on page 55. This set is so cute. One of the things I love about it is that it’s perfect for a card for a women, but, also a man! Here is the ladies counter part to that set:
Isn’t she just too funny?! I stamped her on whisper white card stock, then stamped her again on a print from the Hostess Paper Cheerful Treat on page 11 of the Idea Book & Catalog. Cut out the dress to give her polka dots!
Hope you enjoyed the cards today! It’s beautiful here in Wisconsin…a perfect day to spend with my honey! Good Bye!
